GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide. In laboratory work and some human cosmetic studies it is linked to collagen and elastin synthesis, extracellular-matrix (ECM) remodelling, antioxidant activity and modulation of wound-healing signalling, which supports interest in skin remodelling and tissue repair. Topical use is comparatively better studied than injectable or systemic use, which remains investigational.
